Try Before You Buy
SparkBox has a generous free tier. The free version lets you evaluate the full dashboard, install up to 5 modules, and verify everything works on your hardware before you spend a dollar. We built it this way on purpose — so you can make an informed decision before purchasing Pro.
Because of this, we offer a limited refund policy as described below.
Eligible for Refund
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- SparkBox Pro fails to function on a supported platform (Hostinger VPS, UGREEN NASync, or Windows WSL2) and we are unable to resolve the issue within 14 days of your support request.
- You were charged incorrectly or duplicately.
Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Unsupported platforms. You are running SparkBox on a platform we do not officially support — including Synology, QNAP, TrueNAS, Asustor, or any other NAS or operating system not listed as supported.
- Change of mind. You changed your mind after receiving the license key.
- Did not try free version. You purchased Pro without first evaluating the free version on your hardware.
- Your environment. Issues caused by your hardware, network, ISP, VPN provider, or configuration changes you made to SparkBox or your server.
- Third-party apps. You want a refund because a specific third-party application (Jellyfin, Pi-hole, Vaultwarden, qBittorrent, etc.) does not work as expected. These are open source projects maintained by their own communities — we configure and deploy them, but we do not control their functionality.
How to Request a Refund
- Email support@tomsparkbox.com with your license key and a description of the issue.
- We will attempt to resolve the issue first. Most problems can be fixed.
- If the issue is unresolvable on a supported platform within 14 days of your support request, we will process a full refund.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are happy to work with you to resolve any issue directly.
Filing a chargeback without contacting us first will result in immediate license revocation.
